Not at all — everyone is welcome at Dr. Wilkinson's. House of Better is open to the public for all-day dining, and spa treatments can be booked by outside visitors. We recommend booking spa treatments in advance as availability fills quickly.

Dr. Wilkinson's offers a variety of Calistoga accommodations including Deluxe Kings, Double Queens, Patio Kings, Pool View Kings, Family Bunk Rooms, and private cottages including Edy's Art Cottage, Spa Cottages, the Bungalow House, and the historic Victorian House.

All stays at Dr. Wilkinson's include access to geothermal mineral pools, the Backyard outdoor space with hammocks and fire pits, complimentary bicycles, and full resort amenities. Select packages also include dining credits, breakfast for two, or discounted spa treatments.

Dr. Wilkinson's spa offers Doc's original treatments including The Works — a volcanic ash mud bath, mineral whirlpool with sea salts, facial mask, blanket wrap, and steam room access — as well as restorative facials and therapeutic massages.

Dr. Wilkinson's three geothermal mineral pools — one indoor and two outdoor — are fed by Calistoga's natural hot springs and classified by the Balneology Association of North America as proven to detoxify, strengthen skin, balance the nervous system, and hydrate the body.

The Works is Dr. Wilkinson's signature spa treatment — a full mud bath using Calistoga's volcanic ash and natural mineral springs that exfoliates, cleanses, soothes sore muscles and joints, and leaves skin glowing. Doc's original 1952 recipe is still used today.

House of Better is the on-site restaurant at Dr. Wilkinson's, open to guests and the public alike. It offers Southwest-inspired all-day dining, fresh herbal elixirs, Napa Valley wines, craft cocktails, poolside service, and fresh-baked pies.
